Tour Plan

1. 1:30 AM – Pickup from Hostel

Your driver will pick you up from your hostel early in the morning.

2. Transfer to Jeep Parking Area

Travel by minivan to the designated jeep parking lot.

3. Jeep Ride to Sunrise Point Area

Switch to a jeep and continue the journey to the sunrise point parking area.

4. Walk to Sunrise Viewpoint

Take a short 15-minute hike to the summit for stunning sunrise views over Mount Bromo.

5. Transfer to Bromo Crater Parking Area

After enjoying the sunrise, the jeep will take you to the parking area near the crater.

6. Hike to Bromo Crater

Begin your trek to the crater, which takes approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour. The staircase leading up to the crater rim is clearly visible from below.

7. Return to Jeep Parking Area

Once you’ve explored the crater, walk back to the jeep waiting at the parking lot.

8. Transfer Back to Minivan Parking Area

Ride the jeep back and switch to the minivan for the return journey.

9. Breakfast at a Local Restaurant

Stop at a local eatery to enjoy a well-deserved breakfast.

10. Return to Hostel

After breakfast, your driver will take you back to your hostel.

11. Arrival at Hostel

You will arrive back at your hostel at approximately 11:00 AM.

Note:

Exploring Mount Bromo’s sunrise point and crater is straightforward and can be done without a guide. The walk to the sunrise viewpoint takes around 15 minutes, and the hike to the crater takes about 1 hour. The steps leading to the crater rim are clearly visible and easy to follow.
